The Photoshop Cursors are getting more and more sophisticated with each version released. You are going to want to make the most of the cursor features and this screencast shows you how to do it. The performance preferences in Photoshop CS4 are one of these things that you only need to setup once. Get it right and Photoshop runs smoothly and is a joy to use. Get it wrong! and Photoshop becomes a sluggish beast from which all your pixels will slowly be spat back out at you.
The file handling side of the Photoshop CS4 preferences is pretty much a set it up and forget about it kinda thing. However don’t think its not useful. If you do not move files between other pieces of software much. This is where you can lower the size of a file without compromising on quality.
The interface preferences have probably had more visits than ever before with Photoshop CS4. The introduction of the tabs system really was disliked when it first came out and a lot of users wanted to know how to switch it off. Personally I am getting used to working with it. But its nice to have the option.

Just over a year ago, the world of the DSLR took an HD turn towards the world of the filmmaker. We now have the Canon 5D MkII, 1DSMkIV, 7D, and the Nikon, D90, D5000, D300s, D3s and know doubt a D700 variation will not be that far behind. you get the idea! But, as I have learned over the last few months. Getting great video is only half the battle.
My first article for Photoshop Creative comes out today. At the time of writing I have not got my paws on a copy as yet because the only place that stocks it in the area “Tesco” is awaiting its arrival. But I have already heard its pretty good
